Diligence and Responsibility
Rabbi Moshe Aryeh related to others of the unwavering commitment to the Rabbis job
at the yeshivah. Even if he was feverish he would be sure to come on time and leave
late. He was an expert mohel and was requested by many to perform the brit milah of
their sons. However he had one rule. If he was asked to inspect the child for the Brit , it
would take place before the first shiur - 8:30 , or in the afternoon after the second
shiur. On several occasions he had an early morning brit milah and the families we’re
delayed which would cut into his schedule at the yeshivah. He would tell them “ I’m
sorry , i’m an employee and i have a class to give” and would head straight to the
yeshivah to give his class. He would always say “ I’m an employee , come on time , leave
on time!
